Come Together (In Love not Hate)

Last night evening prayers took place at the Centre Culturel Islamique de Quebec in Quebec City’s Ste-Foy neighbourhood. Last night six men were killed.  It was brutal and it was blunt. And the news was jarring.

Today we came together. As a country, as a city, as a human family. We came together in shared grief and disbelief. We came together to show support to our Muslim brothers and sisters. We came together to feel less alone. We came together to make a statement. We came together in optimism and hope. We came together in tolerance. We came together in interfaith support.

But more important – We came together in love.
